Senior Vice President
As the Senior Vice President of Northeast Buildings, Andy Raus leads the talented resources of the Bergmann buildings practice across the region, as they deliver a range of architecture, engineering and planning services. As a certified planner, Andy’s experience spans a wide range of project types including brownfield re-use, downtown revitalization, land use, transportation planning, healthy living infrastructure and large-scale water quality restoration programs.
Andy has been directly involved in project work, managing complex urban and regional planning initiatives. He is recognized for a unique capacity to build consensus and to facilitate cooperation among competing interests resulting in collaborative solution.
Senior Project Manager, AICP, CFM
Jayme has over 16 years of experience in land use and environmental planning and has been with Bergmann since January 2020 as a Senior Project Manager. Her strengths reside in research and writing, as well as working collaboratively with federal and state agencies, local governments, nonprofit organizations, educational and research institutions, and the public. She finds creative solutions through project management that meets project goals and client needs. Her ability to lead and coach a team, coordinate between disciplines, and use of other interpersonal skills results in the successful delivery of projects that are on schedule and within budget. Jayme excels at community outreach and public speaking. She is certified from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). She holds a Masters degree in Historic Preservation Planning from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Cornell University and a dual Bachelors degree in Historic Preservation and Geography from Mary Washington College.
Senior Interior Architect, AIA, IIDA, NCARB, LEED AP
Kelly is a Senior Architect (Interiors) at Bergmann. She begins each project by gaining an in-depth understanding of the client’s organization and project goals. This understanding serves as a foundation for the design and construction process to follow. Kelly approaches design challenges holistically; simultaneously organizing space, defining form, and integrating color and material for a complete design concept. Her experience includes a diverse portfolio of project types including corporate workplace, higher education, municipal projects, and hospitality. Regardless of project scale, Kelly is focused on finding design solutions that embody the values of each unique client. Kelly is also an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Interior Design at RIT. She has a MArch in Architecture from the University of Illinois; MSCE, Construction Management from the University of Illinois; and a BED, Environmental Design, Miami University.
Mechanical Engineer, PE, CEM, CEA
Evan is a Mechanical Project Engineer at Bergmann. He is part of the Energy Solutions team that focuses on identifying and solving building-related problems for customers in the government, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and education sectors. He works with clients to recommend energy efficiency upgrade projects in all aspects of building planning, including capital project equipment replacement, HVAC control strategies, lighting upgrades, and the schematic-level phases of future expansion programming. Most recently, Evan has been part of the HVAC-related COVID response initiatives by Bergmann, working with clients on how to measure and understand airborne infection risks within their buildings. Evan is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, as well as a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy Auditor. He holds a BS and ME in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
