Tomorrow at the University Club in Albany: Dr. Rik Scarce, author of “Creating Sustainable Communities: Lessons from the Hudson River Region.”

In celebration of their 30th Anniversary, the Community Loan Fund is hosting a luncheon with Dr. Rik Scarce, Sociology Professor at Skidmore College and author of“Creating Sustainable Communities: Lessons from the Hudson River Region.”  
This Luncheon will be held at Albany’s University Club on Washington Ave.  11:30 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. The cost for the luncheon is $30. Attendees must register in advance, online at www.mycommunityloanfund.org. A hot and cold buffet will be served starting at 11:30 with the program beginning at 12:15. A book signing will follow the luncheon, and books will be available for purchase at $25. Books can also be purchased online upon registering for the luncheon, along with Rik Scarce’s video “Sustaining This Place” a film based on the book. Register here.
