Cornell University’s Community & Regional Development Institute (CaRDI) & the Department of City & Regional Planning is sponsoring a webinar on Thursday May 8 which will provide an overview of the State of New York Cities conference held on March 25. This event was held on the Cornell University campus as a way of continuing the dialogue about innovation, creative strategies, and policy considerations in a fiscal stress context. While the webinar focus on 4 cities (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica) the dialogue is important for all NYS municipalities. How can municipalities meet the basic needs of their residents and work toward vibrant places to live, work and play? What groups need to come together to share information and data to support informed decision making at multiple levels?
