Thanks to everyone that came out to spend lunch with us at Brown’s Brew Pub in Troy to talk about development in the historic Collar City. We discussed historic rehab projects, new businesses, major development projects underway and what the future may hold for Troy’s landscape. Author/”Troy Tub thumper” Duncan Crary and developer/entrepreneur Jeffrey Pfeil share their perspectives on what’s happening in Troy, from its built environment to its cultural pulse and we’re very grateful. We had 19 non-CDPA/APA members attend, which is fantastic. We hope that those of you non-members that attended will consider joining CDPA/APA.
Have you taken the event survey? If you attended and haven’t yet responded to our survey please take a moment and check it out.
Due to low registration numbers, we’ve made the difficult choice to cancel the webinar scheduled for this Monday. However, we hope that you will join us for our May luncheon in Albany featuring Gene Bunnell.
Our next event is fast approaching. CDPA is pleased to sponsor the American Planning Association’s April webinar, “Open Government and Engaging the Public.” The Capital District Regional Planning Commission will host the webinar at its offices off of Wolf Road in Colonie.
