Where Strangers Become Neighbours Documentary film screening

For those folks looking to get their next planning film fix, (CDPA will soon be confused with Sundance at this rate) you may want to check out “Where Strangers become Neighbours” a short film chronicling the story of “two decades of transformation in one neighborhood in Vancouver, Canada, where hostility and fear were replaced by an intercultural community; where people of all backgrounds contribute to create a flourishing community.” The film, featuring commentary by Professor Leonie Sandercock of the University of British Columbia, is sponsored by The Diversity Transformation Fund Award,The University at Albany’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 4th from 4:30 – 6:30pm at the SUNYA Uptown Campus, University Hall room 110. Check out the flyer for the event. Light Refreshments will be provided.
