Stormwater Coalition of Albany County hiring two Stormwater Program Technician Assistants

The Stormwater Coalition of Albany County has (2) vacancies for the position of Stormwater Program Technician Assistant. These are 40 hr/wk positions, with benefits; salary competitive, contingent on experience. The multi-year grant funded positions will focus on mapping stormwater infrastructure owned and operated by regulated municipalities throughout the county. Preferred candidates are familiar with Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology; municipal operations; stormwater infrastructure; field work, and the Clean Water Act regulations. Some academic coursework is required, however work experience, ability to work with others, and a commitment to protecting and improving water quality is highly valued.
